Nice Buenaventura’s artistic practice draws on multiple registers, working through archipelagic logics. For Leaps, Changes, Conditions, ASCII renderings of her “Thrashing Palm Tree” motif and warp-drift samples of binakol textiles give form to an inquiry into weather systems through digital and material translations.

Jon practices as a writer for New October. His writings explore the question of knowledge and reality through a critical examination of science and technology.
